Noise Protection Policy

CAVMS Ltd acknowledges that many of it’s team members and students spend time in potentially noisy environments, in small groups as well as larger ensembles. The level of noise varies greatly depending on the instrument, with drums and electric guitar causing the greatest potential problems, as does the length of exposure but it is an issue which everyone should be made aware of.

Students need to raise any concerns in the first instance with the teacher and their parents, and sometimes more appropriate accommodation can be found within the school.

As self employed musicians, all CAVMS team members are individually responsible for their own health and safety; however the following websites offer excellent advice and guidance and may be of use
