A World of Change

What a difference a term makes and, like everyone, CAVMS has been trying to adapt in these rapidly changing and uncertain times, attempting to move to a new online world of Zoom, Skype and Facetime.
The CAVMS team of teachers have embraced this new challenge, and many of them have found it a very rewarding experience. Not only have they learnt new digital skills but have seen a change in the relationship with their pupils, and their newly seen parents!
Many parents have also expressed their gratitude for the lessons continuing, giving their children not only a much needed sense of normality but also a sense of focus – and enjoyment. These appreciative and kind words came from one parent this week:
“ Hi there, it was just to say thank you very much for what Ava called ‘such a good lesson!’ She said ‘Mummy, my new teacher is so lovely’, and she is very much looking forward to her next lesson. With everything that is going on at the moment she’s very happy that her lessons have continued and it was lovely to see her so excited! Thanks again.”
